CAD/CAM

Computerized Dentistry (CAD/CAM)

Reconstruction of part of a tooth, individual teeth, or all teeth, by creating metal-free ceramic restorations (fillings, crowns, bridges, veneers) with the help of a computerized 3D system (CAD/CAM).

CAD/CAM dental treatment consists of three phases. The first involves scanning the prepared tooth with a special intraoral scanner (Omnicam). This is followed by the process of designing the future prosthetic work using computer software (CAD), and then creating a perfectly shaped restoration from a pure ceramic block that completely mimics the natural tooth.

From the moment a patient enters the clinic, they can have their smile restored in just a few hours.

Occlusal Splints

Occlusal splints (commonly known as night guards) are used in cases of unconscious teeth grinding (bruxism) most often during sleep, and conscious teeth grinding in the awake state (bruxomania) to reduce abrasion and protect the dental tissues, decrease the load on the supporting tissues of the teeth, and reduce pain in the jaw muscles.

In athletes, an occlusal splint is typically made only for the upper jaw to reduce the possibility of tooth injury and wear.

Based on the impression taken of the upper and lower jaw teeth, occlusal splints are individually made for each patient from a firm rubber material with a thickness of 2 mm.

Orthodontics

Jaw orthopedics (orthodontics) deals with the diagnosis and treatment of improperly developed teeth and jaws with the goal of achieving a healthy and beautiful smile, as well as a good bite, which ultimately results in the functional harmony of the jaws and well-aligned teeth.

Treatment with removable appliances is the first phase of therapy in children who are in the process of growth and development, while treatment with fixed appliances is suitable for all ages. Adults with similar diagnoses can also begin orthodontic treatment.

Treatment with fixed appliances can avoid the need for prosthetic work (ceramic crowns, implants), stabilize the bite in the case of existing periodontopathy, and reduce jaw parafunctions (joint pain, teeth grinding).

Fluoridation (Fissure Sealing)

A fissure is a groove on the chewing surface of a tooth. It is such a narrow space that a toothbrush bristle cannot enter, but food residues and bacteria can, making it a common site for tooth decay to begin, especially in children.

There are multiple materials available for fissure sealing, all of which are essentially some type of resin similar to fillings. They adhere firmly to the enamel, successfully remaining in place for several years, thus protecting the fissures from harboring bacteria and reducing the possibility of decay by up to 80%.

Fluoridation (fluoride treatment) of teeth is performed two to three times a year through a process that is extremely simple, painless, and, moreover, very interesting for children. A high-concentration fluoride gel is applied in rubber trays and then placed in the patient's mouth. This procedure lasts for 5 minutes.

Removable Prosthodontics

Complete and Partial Dentures

Reconstruction of part of a tooth, individual teeth, or all teeth, by creating metal-free ceramic restorations (fillings, crowns, bridges, veneers) with the help of a computerized 3D system (CAD/CAM).

Dentures are a solution for patients who have lost all or a large number of teeth. These are removable restorations that are occasionally taken out for better maintenance of oral hygiene.

When creating a complete denture, we will strive to faithfully simulate your natural teeth based on your photographs, thereby restoring the familiar smile to your face.

In situations where a partial denture is needed, we will ensure that with the help of metal clasps, or special attachments (attachments), your new partial denture forms an exceptionally functional and aesthetic unit with your natural teeth.

Metal-Free Crowns

Bezmetalne krunice predstavljaju visoko-estetske nadoknade u potpunosti izrađene od keramike koje oponašaju prirodne karakteristike zuba i propuštaju svetlost kao prirodan zub.

Metal-free crowns are high-aesthetic restorations completely made of ceramic, which mimic the natural characteristics of teeth and transmit light like a natural tooth.

Periodontology

Periodontology

Periodontopathy is a disease of the supporting apparatus of the teeth, i.e., the connection between the tooth roots and the bone. It initially manifests as gum inflammation, later with bone recession, and in the final stages, tooth mobility and tooth loss. The main reasons for the development of periodontopathy are dental calculus and inadequate oral hygiene.

The therapy is conducted in 4 phases

Dental Implantology

Dental Implants

Dental implants represent a significant technological advancement in dentistry. After decades of research, testing, and trials, dentists today have the capability to offer their patients something that nature doesn't provide – permanent third teeth. An implant is a titanium screw that is placed into the jawbone, replacing the missing tooth's root, and onto which an artificial ceramic tooth is later attached.

The implantation of dental implants is performed under local anesthesia and takes approximately 15 minutes per implant. The procedure and recovery are completely painless. After 4-6 months, an abutment is placed on the implant, onto which an artificial ceramic tooth is immediately attached.

Dental implants can serve various purposes: as standalone crowns, as supports for future ceramic bridges, and they can also stabilize dentures.
